They still remain a popular UX trend. Their goal is to provide quick access to a variety of content or sections without overwhelming the user with a complicated set of dropdowns. Let’s explore a list of some beautiful mega menus that Double Dot’s Web Development team has refined for its customers. Note that all of them are custom made, and none is built with a plugin. 1. Mary Gaitani The menu disappears as we scroll down the page and reappears when we reach the top. Notice the circle animation that happens when we hover over a sub-menu. 2. Deloudis In this case, we have an initially single-column mega menu that develops into a three-column one. 3. Vernicos Yachts This website is a typical example of a four-column full-screen mega menu. 4. Armeniakos This is a fine example of an animated multi-level menu where the image changes each time we hover over a product category. 5. Select Fish Another full-page mega menu that slides in from the right during its open state. 6. Verina Hotels A full-screen menu with a grayscale-to-color effect by the time the menu opens. 7. Double Dot Last but not least, our site menu includes some infinite marquees that change based on the active sub-menu link. Tags Mega menu Share if you like!
