That’s why we meet up oftenly for some fine dining and the relevant bottle(s) of wine, we do make the best of all the official celebration days, like Christmas, NY or every other minor opportunity to have an office celebration, like international steak day, we celebrate important occasions in everybody’s lives and we always stand by our people when need be. Besides that, we also meet up for work sometimes. 7 Our Digital Office Switching to remote work Making remote work We used to have that fancy, whole floor, open space, all inclusive (surfboards, snowboards and dog included) offices, that we decorated with quite the style and attitude and we loved spending time there. Then covid visited the planet. And we started working at home, from living rooms to bedrooms, if kids were applicable even bathrooms for some privacy, in our pjs, saved tons of money in makeup and gas, had to survive our neighbours’ home renovation works and from all those slippers our feet grew too big for high heels. At first it was a shock, then we gradually got used to it and then we started thriving. And we do so to this day. 8 Making remote work work Have we mentioned anything about processes yet? No? Well, we are cult fanatic lunatics, if you haven’t heard. And every cult that respects itself needs its rituals. We meet up virtually every morning, praise the process, offer breakfast sacrifices, make sure that everybody knows what’s going on in Double Dot and get pumped up for the day. Then we have a retrospective weekly meeting, to praise ourselves and celebrate all that went great. Everybody has a laptop, configured correctly, to preach the word with safe use of our data. 9 Our collaboration tools This is how remote work works, when working has to work. And it works.
